In anger, judgment, hurt, hate and desperation, the world is screaming. Many (even those proclaiming to be Believers) scream, “Where is God?”. Could it be that God is waiting for us to stop screaming and to start crying — yes, crying out to Him, imploring His help and mercy? Simply stated, the world is screaming at each other. We need, instead, to be crying out to God. Therein, lies the only way to God’s comfort and peace. Shredding each other into pieces neither dries the tears of all that is wrong, nor does it heal these scars and lead us in the right direction– where God’s power and grace can mend both broken hearts and weary souls.
God is the only leader capable of winning the current battles Satan is waging against us all. Satan’s presence, not God’s absence, is the root of today’s evil oozing into all 21st Century battlefields, from Ukraine to our chambers of civil government, to our cities’ streets, to our Nation’s schools, etc., etc., etc.,, It is beyond time for our Country, our Churches and all Believers to stop stretching out in blame, self-righteousness and a misplaced sense of knowing-it-all and to, instead, humbly crouch down on bended knee and beg God to save us all from the devil, as well as ourselves.
How do we do this? Basic outline is we PRAY. We, solely, adore God first and foremost. Then we implore God to step in, lead us and save our souls. The only way to put evil where it belongs is to put God where He belongs. If God is first in our lives, the devil can not destroy our lives. It is more than time for the world, America and each and every one of us to turn back to God, line up behind Him and let our Almighty Father in Heaven defeat what only He can overpower. Will you join me in bowing to God and begging Him to bring His change into our land?
“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’ Surely He will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. … ‘Because he loves me’, says the Lord, ‘I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges My name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation’.” Psalm 91: 1-6, 14-16 (NIV)
